Why We Founded Today B4 Tomorrow

We are Rob and Jo Ann Davidson, founders of Today B4 Tomorrow. Our mission began in January 2007, after we witnessed firsthand the hardships children endure just to attend school in Africa.

We met children walking for hours through dangerous terrain, chased by elephants and buffalo before dawn. We heard stories of a boy collecting scraps of corn from classmates because his family had no food, and of a young girl who fainted in class from hunger and was rushed to the hospital. No child should suffer this way simply for the chance to learn.

That’s why we continue to act. We committed our personal savings to build a 96-bed girls’ dormitory at Margaret Kenyatta Olkuroto Primary School. Today, those girls are safe, protected, and able to focus on their education.  We are currently under construction for the 96-bed boys’ dormitory and expect completion by late January 2026.

But safety is only one part of the challenge. Many students still sit in class too hungry to concentrate. Not only are we raising funds to finish the boys’ dormitory but are also raising funds to provide daily meals. For just 20 cents, one child receives food at school—energy to learn, strength to grow, and hope for the future.

We cannot do this alone. With your help, we can feed and protect thousands of children who are eager to learn.
